UNIVERSITY GUIDELINES
Guidelines of Admission under Sports Quota
1. 3 % of the total number of sanctioned seats are reserved for admission to various undergraduate courses under Sports quota.
2. Sports forms available in the College office w.e.f. 5th June- 19th June 2013 from 10am-1.00 (excluding Saturdays and Sundays), are to be filled separately,
3. Photocopy of Sports certificates should be accompanied with a Photograph of the candidate duly attested by the respective issuing authority or the Head of the institution last attended.
4. Any student who submits false/ forged/ fake certificate(s) will be debarred from admission to any course in any College for three years. If she is admitted, her admission will be cancelled.
5. Candidate’s level of competency in the Sport will be determined only for those who have achieved distinction during the last three years in the sports events offered by the College and
recognized by the AIU and IOA.
6. The applicant as per her age must be eligible to participate in intervarsity competitions during her entire stay in the college and should not be employed Full time / Part time anywhere.

Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Swimming , Diving, Gymnastics, Judo, Tennis, Table Tennis , Hockey, Baseball, Football, Netball, Softball, Volleyball, Wrestling, Squash, Yoga, Pistol Shooting.
Super Category : Direct Admission by the College without trials-
Sports Person who have participated/ represented the country in the following competition(s)
a. Olympic games by IOC
b. World Championships under International Sports Federation (IOA and /or MYAS recognized / affiliated Games.
c. Asian Games by Olympic Council of Asia
d. Asian Championships organized by International Federation of Concerned Game
(recognized/ affiliated by MYAS and/ or IOA)
e. Commonwealth Games, S.A.F Games and Afro Asian Games.
f. Paralympics Games ( recognized/ affiliated by MYAS and/ or IOA)
Criteria for selection of candidates on the basis of Sports Trials
Qualifying test for all as follows-
1. Strength: Standing broad Jump1.15 mts,
2. Endurance: 1000 mts run/ walk, 6.0min.
3. Speed 50mts.-dash, 9.00 sec.
The Candidates seeking admission on the basis of Chess, Archery and Shooting
may qualify any one of the following fitness tests
1. Speed 50mts.-dash
2. Standing Broad Jump
3. Endurance: 1000 mts run/ walk
Evaluation will be on the following criteria:
Maximum 50 marks Sports Certificates
Maximum 50 marks Sports Trials (include skill test, game performance test, games specific fitness ,fundamentals of the games/ Sport etc.)

The above is subject to change as per directives received from the University from time to time
